Leadership Camp

Group of three teens (two girls and a boy)

This weekly teen camp is for youth entering grades 6 to 8 in the fall. Teens are given leadership roles within the camp and opportunities to utilize those roles in group work, volunteerism, college success, career exploration and other teen appropriate activities during the summer.

Each Monday the group is given a budget for the following two weeks and with their counselors guidance they must decide what activities they will partake in. Their week must encompass field trips, service learning projects, fitness activities, arts & humanities, fundraising, volunteerism, college preparation and team building. The YMCA will set up other rewarding activities to encourage their success!
