YMCA Healthy Kids Day Successful!

On April 28th the YMCA of Central New Mexico celebrated Healthy Kids at the Horn Family YMCA. Healthy Kids Day is a national initiative of the Y to improve the health and well-being of kids. More than 1,900 Ys across the country took part in the celebration with free community events for families, meant to kick start physical activity and learning throughout the summer.
We would like to thank all our Y members and members of the community who joined us on Saturday! We would also like to thank all the Y staff and other organizations who took part in the event; without them we could not have pulled off such a wonderful community event. We look forward to celebrating Healthy Kids Day again next year!
